Virtual Halloween: John "Little John" Roberts lays down a drum track from the stage of the Rialto Theatre in Atlanta during the Internet2 Virtual Halloween netcast event Tuesday night before an audience of 30 who gathered in the East Lounge of the Perkins Student Center, along with a crowd in Atlanta and a global audience on the WORLD WIDE WEB. The netcast was the most ambitious test yet performed by the Internet2 consortium, of which UD is a member. It featured an on-stage visit by Richard S. Sacher, UD manager of Information Technologies/User Services, and a remote performance by David Herman, chair of the Department of Music, from the console of the Jefferson Pipe Organ in Bayard Sharp Hall.
