Stanley I. Sandler, Henry B. duPont Professor of Chemical Engineering, has been appointed editor of the AlChE Journal, a research monthly published by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Awards

John H. Talley, geology, was presented the George V. Cohee Public Service Award by the eastern section of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists for "his enthusiastic application of geologic science for public benefit."

Cynthia Cummings, residence life, received the COLORS Award from the Mid Atlantic Association of College and University Housing Officers for her outstanding contributions to students and staff in the area of diversity education.
