Bach's first lunch in B#: More than 60 members of the University community attended the first program in the new Bach's Lunch seriesthe free, public noontime presentations held on Wednesdays through Dec. 6 in Bayard Sharp Hall. On Oct. 11, organist and music department chairperson David Herman shared information on the Jefferson Organ, played musical selections and invited the audience to examine the workings of the instrument. A Blue and Gold Club cart with a variety of sandwiches and accompaniments will sell items outside the hall before each program. The Oct. 25 concert will feature music department faculty member Jennifer Barker, who will present original Celtic music.
