Used book sale scheduled

Used books are needed for the Wesley Foundation Campus Mini stry Book Sale, to be held Oct. 6-7.

Donations, which are tax deductible, will help support Wesley Foundation students who will spend spring break in Lumberton, N.C., helping to provide free home repair to those in need. The students volunteer their time and labor, but help is needed for expenses.

To donate books and arrange for pick-up, contact Janice Atchley, Center for Drug and Alcohol Studies, at 453-8808 (home), 831-6286 (work) or by e-mail at [atchley@udel.edu] or Linda Russell, English, at 831-1974 or by e-mail at [lrussell@ udel.edu].

The public is invited to the book sale, which will feature books in all categories. The sale will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6, and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, in the lower level of the Newark United Methodist Church, 69 East Main St. Free parking is available behind the church.
