The Office of Human Resources is offering training sessions to discuss several areas of the classification, recruitment and employment processes at UD, including recent changes. The topics include writing a job description, scheduling interviews for salaried staff positions and the decentralization of reference checks for salaried staff positions. There also will be a discussion of how resumes for salaried staff positions will be managed electronically in the near future. The training sessions are designed for UD staff members who regularly deal with the employment office. Participants may attend one of two scheduled sessions. The first will be held from 2-4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, in Room 007 in Willard Hall Education Building, and the second from 9-11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 2, in Room 125 in MBNA America Hall. Registration is required because seating is limited. To register for one of these sessions, send e-mail to Peter Malinowski in the Office of Human Resources at [petemal@udel.edu] and include name, department, title and e-mail address. |
