Promoting women's equity

Anne M. Boylan, (second from right) history and women's studies, received the 2001 E.A. Trabant Award for Women's Equity. The award, sponsored by the Commission on the Status of Women, was presented May 21 by UD President David Roselle (left) and President Emeritus E. Arthur Trabant (right) during a luncheon in the Trabant University Center. Also present was Judith Hough Goldstein (second from left), chairperson of both the Commission on the Status of Women and the Department of Entomology and Applied Ecology. Boylan was recognized for her scholarship on women, mentoring women students and service to various groups, such as the committee for the Women's History Film Series.
