Travel awards honor language professor at UD

The American Society for 18th-Century Studies has announced the establishment of the Theodore E. D. Braun Research Travel Fellowship, an annual travel award of $500 offered to members of ASECS to support

  • documentary research on Jean-Jacques Le Franc de Pompignan,

  • nontenured persons working on Voltaire, or

  • researchers who are working on French literary studies.

The first awards will be available for summer 2002 and honor Braun, a professor of French and comparative literature in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
