Paul Wise Fund recognizes founding director's leadership To recognize Paul Wise's leadership as the founding director of UD Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management Program and to reflect his deeply held convictions about the importance of close and enduring links between this program and industry, Wise's friends and colleagues have established the Paul Wise Executive-in-Residence Endowment Fund at the University. The Wise Executive-in-Residence Fund will sponsor an on-campus programincluding lectures, workshops, consultation and advisement sessions with HRIM faculty and staffby a recognized leader who personifies current best practice in hospitality management. During the campus stay, the Wise Executive will join with HRIM faculty, staff and students in educational activities that take advantage of his or her unique background and perspective on the hospitality and tourism field. Each Wise Executive will work with HRIM faculty and staff to challenge students with new concepts and skills, expose them to cutting-edge industry issues and encourage innovation and leadership development. The program places a special emphasis on undergraduate education and career development. The goal is raise at least $100,000, with an optimum goal of $250,000.
