Honors Day ceremonies scheduled Friday afternoon

The University of Delaware will celebrate the academic success of its students during 2001 Honors Day ceremonies on Friday, May 4.

Each college will present awards at separate ceremonies, beginning at 2:30 p.m. In addition, the Division of Continuing Education will hold a ceremony at 5:30 p.m.

Ceremonies will be held at the following locations:

  • College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mitchell Hall;

  • College of Arts and Science, Multipurpose Room, Trabant University Center;

  • College of Business and Economics, 115 Purnell Hall;

  • UD MedalsCollege of Engineering, Pearson Hall auditorium;

  • College of Health and Nursing Sciences, 130 Sharp Laboratory;

  • College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy, Clayton Hall–School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy in Room 119, School of Education in Room 128, Department of Individual and Family Studies in Room 101B, Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management in Room 101A and Department of Consumer Studies in Room 120;

  • College of Marine Studies, 104 Cannon Laboratory; and

  • Division of Continuing Education, 101A and B Clayton Hall, 5:30 p.m.

After the college ceremonies, President and Mrs. David P. Roselle will host a reception from 3:45 p.m.-5 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center for members of honor societies, award recipients, their sponsors and families, administrators, academic deans and department chairs.
