Education web site recognized The Delaware Education Research and Development Center web site has been selected by Lightspan's StudyWeb for its academic excellence award as one of the best educational resources on the web.
According to StudyWeb, only the finest sites are included in its directory of education links, and each site includes a detailed review describing its editorial and visual merits. The reviews have been featured in Yahoo's Education Web Directories, Webcrawler Select, EducationWorld and others. UD's center was selected for the site because of three new education information packets on school-based management, school finance and parent involvement, all created by Lisa Banicky, an educational researcher at the center. The UD Education Research and Development Center was established to support the state in its efforts to reform educational policy and practice through development work; studies, analyses and publications; ad hoc evaluation support; data-based decision making; systemic reform evaluation; and University support and service.
