Memorial service March 18 for Leidda J. Caleb

Members of the University community are invited to a memorial service to honor the memory of Leidda Jacqueline Caleb, to be held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, March 18, in Mitchell Hall.

The 19-year-old UD sophomore and graduate of the Oxford Area High School, died in January of heart failure.

The service is entitled "Our Hearts Remember Leidda Jacqueline Caleb."

During the first hour, those present can observe some special items of Ms. Caleb's that will be on display and will be able to write remembrance notes to the family. Monetary donations and new or used books for elementary school children, which will be given to the Dudley Forbes Charter School, will be accepted.

A celebration of Ms. Caleb's life, including reflections, speeches, performances and special tributes will be held from 5:30-8 p.m., and light refreshments will be available immediately after the service.
