Awards offer research help

Research support is available through the Student Travel Award, Special Travel Award (for faculty and staff) and Visiting Women's Scholars Fund.

Travel awards require a departmental match and are available to women or to men whose research involves women.

The awards are given to support travel to present scholarly papers or participate in panel discussions at a conference or comparable activity. Applications are available at [www.udel.edu/ OWA] under "Funding."

The deadline is April 1.

The Visiting Women's Scholars Fund is a matching fund designed to assist departments in bringing women scholars to campus. Applications are available at [www.udel.edu/ OWA] under "Funding." There is a rolling deadline for the Visiting Women's Scholars Fund; each application will be evaluated when it is received.
