Script entries due March 13

The deadline for students who want to enter the Rainbow Script Writing Contest is 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 13.

A $500 first place and a pair of $250 second place awards will be given. The winners will be announced at a staged reading which starts at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 26, at Rainbow Records on Main Street in Newark.

Entries must be must be one-act plays, written for the theatre in standard script format, by undergraduate or graduate students at UD.

Entries placed in an envelope clearly displaying the name, address, phone number and e-mail address, as well as the title "Rainbow Script Writing Awards," should be brought to the English Department in 212 Memorial Hall.
