| The University of Delaware Marching Band will welcome Blue Hen fans to this year's opening game in Delaware Stadium Saturday evening, Sept. 9, with pregame and halftime performances that are the result of a year of planning and practice.
This year, the first show is a challengeclassical music by Tchaikovsky. The second show will be music by Bill Chase and by Blood, Sweat and Tears. The band will perform at all home games and at away games with Hofstra on Sept. 16 and Massachusetts on Nov. 11. Last year, UD was ranked 22nd among public universities. "These small differences in rankings from year to year should not be considered significant," Roselle said. Complete rankings are available on the magazine's web site at [www.usnews.com]. |
