Alumnus to return to campus for Chaplin Tyler Lecture Nov. 5

UD alumnus and former UD trustee Anthony R. Goland, director of the Washington, D.C., office of McKinsey & Co. Inc., will deliver the next lecture in the Chaplin Tyler Executive Leadership Lecture Series. Goland will deliver "Perspectives on Leadership" at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 5, in Room 125 of MBNA America Hall.

Goland joined McKinsey & Co. in 1985 and has served clients in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia. He is currently co-leader of McKinsey's financial institutions electronic commerce and operational effectiveness practices in North America. He also is a member of the firm's worldwide recruiting leadership group. Before joining McKinsey, Goland worked for Morgan Bank Delaware, a subsidiary of Morgan Guaranty Trust and spent three years as a supply sergeant in the U.S. Army.

Goland received his MBA with high distinction as a Baker Scholar at the Harvard Business School. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration summa cum laude from UD in 1983.
