| Tuition for full-time University of Delaware undergraduate and graduate students for 2000-2001 will increase by 2.97 percent for Delawareans and by 4 percent for nonresidentsthe lowest percentages of increase in two decades.
The new annual rates are $4,510 for Delawareans, an increase of $130, and $13,260, for nonresident students, an increase of $510. "Providing a high quality education at an affordable rate is one of the University's top priorities," University President David P. Roselle said. " Over the last decade, we have been able to minimize increases in tuition while dramatically increasing scholarship support. In fact, University support for student scholarships has tripled since 1990." Full-time graduate tuition is the same as that for undergraduates, with the exception of those pursuing the master of business administration (MBA) degree. New, full-time regular MBA tuition is $5,690 for Delaware residents, an increase of 2.9 percent ($160), and $13,260 for nonresidents, an increase of 4 percent ($510). |
