New dining experience

Waitress Joey Brookes Helsel serves student Jerry Franklin Poe at Euro Bistro in the Morris Library.

Welcome to a different kind of dining for members of the University community. Pan Geos, a new concept in food service for UD, means "world fresh flavors," featuring demonstration cooking where the cook interacts with customers and uses only fresh ingredients. Pan Geos is being offered at the Euro Bistro in the Morris Library Commons and at the Pasta Kitchen in the Rodney Dining Hall.

The newly renovated Euro Bistro replaces the vegetarian-focused Heart Cart. The menu will change daily and will feature paninis-Italian gourmet, hot or cold sandwiches with unusual and creative fillings-bakery items, fruitees, smoothies, seltzers and Starbucks coffee. A choice of two hot, one cold or one vegetarian panini will be offered daily, and soups, salads and other items will round out the menu.

The remodeled Pasta Kitchen in the Rodney Dining Hall offers two rotating pasta dishes daily, one a marinara-based dish and the other a cream- or pesto-based dish, made to order in front of the customer.

The Euro Bistro is open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays; 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Fridays; closed Saturdays; and 1-10 p.m., Sundays. The Pasta Kitchen is open Mondays through Fridays for lunch and dinner.
