University admissions viewbook wins CASE gold medal

The University of Delaware viewbook has been selected to receive a gold medal from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). In the category of Student Recruitment Publications: Viewbooks and Prospectuses, two gold, one silver and four bronze medals were awarded, out of 120 entries.

Amy Greenwald Foley, admissions, was the writer, and Elizabeth Dunkle, publications, was the editor for the project.

Earlier, the viewbook was selected for its outstanding design to appear in Print Magazine's Regional Design Annual 1999.

The viewbook's and all admissions publications' theme is "Life shouldn't be ordinary–not now, not ever," and the viewbook focuses on UD's active and vibrant academic community, with teachers who teach as well as conduct research, graduates who are successful after leaving UD and a traditional campus located in the center of the East coast, making it easily accessible to cities from New York to Washington.

All CASE winners will be posted on its web site in late June at [www. case.org/ awards]
