Big Brothers Big Sisters sets
19th annual bowling fundraiser

The 19th annual Bowl for KIDS’ Sake, a Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraiser to support friendships between adult volunteers and children from single-parent families, will be held Saturday, April 15. Organizations throughout the state are invited to participate, and last year more than 300 teams took part. Teams should consist of five or six persons who are willing to solicit sponsors on a cents-per-pin basis from friends, coworkers and family. Big Brothers Big Sisters will send sponsors pledge reminders so bowlers do not have to collect pledge money. Participants enjoy a free bowling party, free food and chances to win a variety of prizes.
