Award nominations due March 2

The deadline for nominations for the 2000 Emalea P. Warner and Alexander J. Taylor Sr. Awards for Outstanding Seniors is March 2. These annual awards recognize the outstanding woman and man, respectively, of the senior class. Qualified candidates must have demonstrated exceptional qualities of leadership, citizenship and character as exemplified by Mrs. Warner and Mr. Taylor. Nominees must have a cumulative grade index of 3.0 or better at the end of the first semester of his or her senior year. The Warner and Taylor recipients will be presented with a $2,000 monetary award and are recognized at their individual Honors Day ceremonies on May 5. They also will be honored at a luncheon hosted by President and Mrs. David Roselle, and they will be invited to lead the alumni delegates’ procession at the 2000 Commencement in May.
