Service awards to employees and retirees are now being distributed in a new way. Awards, marking increments of five years of service, are now distributed to employees at their offices within one month of their anniversaries. Formerly, the awards were distributed at service luncheons held in October and March, but now, employees will not have to wait for their awards, according to Richard Holland, Human Resources.
For retirees, awards are now available as soon as they have signed their retirement papers at the Benefits Office. Formerly, they were distributed several weeks prior to the annual service/retiree dinner in May.
Honored employees still will be invited to the awards luncheons and awards dinner, held in May.
For further information, call 831-2059.
