REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED with four years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience. Additional secretarial training or related education may be substituted for required experience. Associate degree or equivalent college-level course work in business administration or related field preferred. University experience is desirable. Requires extensive knowledge of office practices and procedures; ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently; knowledge of the principles and practices of office management; ability to analyze and interpret data, make independent decisions, plan, assign, review and evaluate the work of other personnel; demonstrated ability to use advanced techniques in word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software; and the ability to communicate effectively and interact well with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must pass typing test (45wpm). DUTIES: Under general supervision performs complex secretarial and administrative duties. The principal emphasis is on providing program support and coordinating administrative aspects of state 4-H programs and events. Prioritize and resolve administrative issues. Daily contact with 4-H leaders and parents of school-age children. Prepare payroll for miscellaneous wage employees for agriculture administration and coordinate payroll for the entire college via electronic submissions. DEADLINE: Sept. 13.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED with three years of experience in a secretarial position. Additional secretarial training or related education may be substituted for required experience. Secretarial training and experience in the University environment are preferred. Requires knowledge of office practices and procedures, business English and proofreading and editing skills. Requires hands-on experience with electronic information systems, demonstrated ability to create and maintain databases and spreadsheets, as well as use intermediate word processing techniques, and the ability to communicate effectively and interact well with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of Microsoft Publisher and the ability to work without close supervision preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pass typing test (45wpm). DUTIES: Assist the Summer College coordinator in organizing and planning Summer College (60 percent) by managing and processing incoming applications, forms and correspondence and responding as necessary. Respond to inquiries and explain the program's procedures and policies. Maintain the record-keeping system using Microsoft Access databases and forms. Update and maintain the web page. Prepare paperwork for new staff hires and faculty. Gather data for the annual report and DOE grant request and use Excel to track expenses. Prepare newsletter, keep track of payments and make timely deposits. Support the assistant to the director (40 percent) by soliciting course descriptions from faculty and providing camera-ready copy of the fall and spring course booklets. Update and maintain the web site. Provide secretarial assistance and support staff as needed. DEADLINE: Sept. 13.
#99S180 Wardrobe Supervisor (T-05), Theatre-Minimum $13,459 per annum. This is a 75-percent-time position from September to June. REQUIREMENTS: One year of experience working in a costume shop of a professional theatre required. Fashion design or theatre degree and knowledge of theatre history preferred. Excellent organizational skills and a minimum of one year of professional theatre experience are essential. DUTIES: Coordinate the care and organization of costumes during dress rehearsals and performances, as well as assist the costume designer and costume shop manager in the preparation of costumes. This includes supervising wardrobe crew, maintaining dressing room, laundry and storage areas and assisting the costume designer in craft work, make-up, wig and facial hair preparation and purchasing and crafting costume pieces.
