Water research proposals due
for matching grant support

The Delaware Water Resources Center is accepting proposals for matching grants to support research on non-point source water pollution, in cooperation with the National Institutes for Water Resources and the Kentucky Water Resources Research Institute.

Proposals having substantial collaboration between the U.S. Geological Survey and university scientists are encouraged, especially on proposals addressing non-point source pollution.

Proposals may be for projects of 1 to 3 years in duration and shall not request total federal funds exceeding $250,000 per project. Successful applicants must match each dollar of the federal grant with funds from nonfederal sources.

Proposals must be filed on the Internet at <http://www. niwr.org> by March 24 and must be approved for submission to the National Competitive Grants program by April 3.
