LIFE conference to assist
persons with disabilities

A LIFE conference for persons with disabilities and their families, will be held from 8 a.m.-3:45 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, in the Sheraton Hotel in Dover. LIFE stands for Liberty and Independence For Everyone.

A joint effort of many Delaware consumer-focused organizations, the conference will address the topics of legislation, independence through assistive technology, families and education.

Paul Marchand, one of the country's leading advocates for individuals with mental retardation and their families, will deliver the keynote address at 8:45 a.m.

Concurrent presentations on all aspects of living with disabilities will follow from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and from 1:15-2:15 p.m.
