Christine Lawson Schultz has been named assistant director of alumni relations, after serving as a UD admissions counselor for three years.
Her new duties range from maintaining communication with the alumni association board of directors to coordinating alumni events, such as club reunions and Homecoming. Informing all University graduates about the alumni association will be one of Schultz's first undertakings, she said. "I want to inform all UD graduates about the automatic, free membership in our alumni association," she said. "In many schools, the grads have to pay a fee to join, but our alumni association is free. Once you graduate, you're in." Schultz joined the Office of Alumni and University Relations in September. She received her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of California-Berkeley and is working part-time on her master's degree in educational leadership at UD. |
