The Employee Wellness Center is sponsoring a program "For Smokers Only" from 10-10:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 11, in Room 122 of Memorial Hall, and the program will be repeated from noon-12:30 p.m. in Room 100 of Kirkbride Lecture Hall.

The seminar is intended for those smokers who are thinking about kicking the habit. Two ex-smokers will share their experiences. The cost is $5 Wellness Dollars, and attendees will be entered into a drawing for free sandwiches at Subway. Pre-registration is required. To register, call 831-8388.

The Great American Smoke-Out, an annual event sponsored by the American Cancer Society, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 18. The idea is for people to sign a contract saying that they will not smoke for 24 hours on that day. There is no cost to participate.
