1:08 p.m., July 7, 2008--The University of Delaware Bookstore is now stocking the No. 5 Baltimore Ravens jersey of former Fightin' Blue Hens quarterback Joe Flacco.

The jerseys, which initially are available in Baltimore's home color of purple, cost $85 and will be available at the UD Bookstore in the Perkins Student Center and on game days at the stadium shops at Delaware Stadium. UD Bookstore discounts will not apply to purchases of the Flacco jerseys.

Flacco, who became the highest National Football League draft pick in UD history when he was selected in the first round by Baltimore, was a two-year starter who set 20 school records while leading the Blue Hens to the 2007 NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision national title game.

Flacco enjoyed an outstanding senior season for the Blue Hens, completing 331 of 521 passes for 4,263 yards and 23 touchdowns with just five interceptions. The All-American was named the ECAC and Colonial Athletic Association Co-Offensive Player of the Year.

He finished his career second on the all-time UD passing yardage list with 7,046 yards and also set career marks for completions, passing attempts and 200-yard passing games.
