Rules set for purchasing Jon Stewart tickets

5:52 p.m., Nov. 6, 2007--Okay, all you Jon Stewart fans--here are the rules and regulations established by UD's Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB) for purchasing tickets for Stewart's performance at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Bob Carpenter Center:

  • No valid UD ID? No tickets. You must have a valid UD ID to purchase tickets from Nov. 8-11;
  • Two tickets per ID, one ID per person. There are no exceptions;
  • Cost is $30 for full-time students and $65 for part-time UD students, faculty and staff;
  • You must have a numbered wristband to purchase tickets at the Trabant University Center box office. Wristbands will be provided once you arrive in line;
  • Holding spots in line and line jumping will not be tolerated;
  • Leave the line at your own risk--a wristband does not secure your specific spot in line;
  • No overnight camping is permitted;
  • Follow instructions from University staff and SCPAB volunteers, and this will be an easy day for everyone;
  • Ticket sales are only at the Trabant and Bob Carpenter Center box offices; and
  • Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster [www.ticketmaster.com] outlets on Nov. 12, where a convenience fee may apply.
