E-52 to stage ’An Ideal Husband’ May 8-10

4:40 p.m., May 5, 2008--UD's E-52 Student Theatre will present Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband at 8 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, May 8-10, in the Bacchus Theatre of the Perkins Student Center. The play, first performed in 1895, is a comedy of blackmail, betrayal, political corruption and love and tells a witty story of public and private honor.

E-52 Student Theatre strives to stage a well-rounded series of productions each semester. Past performances have included traditional plays, absurdist theatre, comedies and original student productions. E-52 also sponsors social activities for the UD community, including social gatherings, field trips and a birthday party for Shakespeare.
