5:01 p.m., May 7, 2008--Lawrence Agbemabiese, a former UD professor who currently manages the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Rural Energy Enterprise Development (REED) and Rural Energy End-User Finance Programs in five African countries, as well as in Yunan Province, China, will give a talk on “Enabling Sustainable Energy Paradigms and Regimes in Africa: Some Experiences, Lessons and Growth Strategies” at noon, Thursday, May 8, in the Ewing Room of the Perkins Student Center.
The event is sponsored by the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy, the Graduate Program in Energy and Environmental Policy and the College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy. It is free and open to the campus community only, and a complimentary buffet lunch will be provided.
