3:57 p.m., May 15, 2008--UD's Children's Choir will hold auditions in the Amy E. du Pont Music Building from 4:30-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 20. Singers must be in grades 2-8 and have treble (unchanged) voices to be eligible.

The Children's Choir meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from 5:15-6:45 p.m., September through May, in the Amy E. du Pont Music Building, to learn to sing with a pure tone and rhythmic accuracy. Rehearsals start with a singing game and continue with the learning of a diverse repertoire, including lullabies, processionals, spirituals and folk songs in many languages.
Children's Choir events include seasonal performances, both on and off campus. Remaining concerts this year include a spring concert at 7 p.m., Friday, May 16, in Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building and an opening set for UD's Chorale Concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 17, in the atrium of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.
