8:13 a.m., May 5, 2008--UD's 2008 Benefits Open Enrollment period is scheduled for May 5 - 23. During open enrollment, employees can change their benefits, check their benefit costs and confirm their enrollment for July 1 at [www.udel.edu/flexnet].

"We are pleased be able to say for the third year in a row that employee premiums for health insurance will not increase, and co-pays and deductibles will remain unchanged for the 2008-09 plan year," Chris Ulrich, manager in the Office of Human Resources, said.

A brochure detailing health plan options and benefit costs for the new fiscal year was sent to employees through campus mail last week.

Representatives from Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware, as well as many other benefit providers, will participate in UD's annual benefits fair to be held from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, in Multipurpose Rooms A, B and C of the Trabant University Center.
