The Fightin' Blue Hens pounded out 25 hits, and broke the game wide open with three runs in the second and fourth innings, five in the fifth, six in the sixth and four more in the seventh.
UD starting pitcher Corey Crispell (3-3) worked five strong innings for the win.
Hitting home runs for the Blue Hens were second baseman Pat Dameron, right fielder Scott Shockley, left fielder Jared Olson, third baseman Bill Merkler and center fielder Josh Dean.
Shockley had three hits and five runs batted in, Dameron had three hits and four runs batted in, shortstop Kyle Davis had three hits and four runs scored and catcher Ryan Reed had three hits and three runs scored.
First baseman Ryan Cuneo had a double in the sixth inning to extend his hitting streak to 21 games, the eighth longest streak in UD history.
With the victory, the Blue Hens improved to 20-28 on the season.
They will return to action with a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series against Towson University beginning at 3 p.m., Friday, at Bob Hannah Stadium. The series will continue with games at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
