Newark Police investigate robbery
9:19 a.m., March 1, 2008--Newark Police are investigating a robbery that occurred around 7:20 p.m., Friday, Feb. 29, in the 100 block of Madison Drive in Newark.

A 44-year-old man was walking in the rear alleyway of townhouses there when he was approached from behind by two men. One of them pressed an object against his back and demanded property. The man turned over his property, and the suspects fled on foot. The victim was not injured.

Both suspects were wearing blue coats, dark masks and wool hats.
