6:35 p.m., March 27, 2008--University of Delaware seniors and graduate students who will be receiving degrees at Commencement on May 31 are advised that the University Bookstore is the only approved vendor for University of Delaware Commencement items, including official and required University regalia (caps, gowns and hoods).

This exclusivity helps ensure that the regalia worn at Commencement are uniform and also permits the University to rely on Bookstore records to determine who intends to participate in Commencement exercises. Graduating students with non-compliant regalia may not be permitted to participate in Commencement exercises.

Graduating students may purchase academic regalia at the University Bookstore in the Perkins Student Center, May 12-17.
