Bioscience Breakfast set July 17 at Christiana Hospital

10:51 a.m., July 12, 2007--The next Delaware Bioscience Breakfast will be held from 7:30-9 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, at Christiana Hospital, in the auditorium of the hospital's John H. Ammon Medical Education Center.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Brian Little, vice president for academic affairs and research, Christiana Care Health Services. A breakfast buffet and networking session, offered from 7:30-8 a.m., will precede the formal program.

Organized and sponsored by UD's Delaware Biotechnology Institute and the Delaware Economic Development Office, the Delaware Bioscience Breakfast series is a popular networking event that brings together bioscience-focused individuals every other month to foster collaboration and growth of Delaware's bioscience community. Large and small businesses, for-profits and not-for-profits, academics, entrepreneurs and investors have attended and taken away valuable information and ideas on how to continue to grow and prosper from the series, which now is in its sixth year.

Christiana Hospital is located at 4755 Ogletown-Stanton Road (Route 4) in Newark. Please use the Heart and Vascular Center entrance to access the Ammon Education Center Auditorium. Parking is available in the B lot, C lot, or behind the education center.
