3:42 p.m., Dec. 7, 2007--The Office of Alumni Relations is accepting nominations for several student and alumni awards and for alumni association board of directors positions.

The deadline for all alumni nominations is Friday, Jan. 18, and the deadline for the student awards is Monday, Feb. 18.

UD Alumni Association Board of Directors

STUDENT AWARD NOMINATIONS

Emalea Pusey Warner and Alexander J. Taylor Sr. Awards

The Emalea Pusey Warner and Alexander J. Taylor Sr. Awards annually honor an outstanding senior woman and man, respectively. Recipients are awarded $2,500, are recognized at a luncheon and lead the alumni delegates' procession at Commencement. Nominees must demonstrate outstanding academic success, community service and leadership and must have a 3.0 or better cumulative index. Milton L. Draper Award

The Milton L. Draper Award provides two $2,000 scholarships each year to a sophomore or junior for exhibiting outstanding performance in fostering student-alumni interaction. The recipient must exemplify Mr. Draper's characteristics of leadership, dedication and enthusiasm for the University.
