11:38 a.m., April 15, 2008--A Public Service Careers Expo will be held from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, in the Rodney and Ewing rooms and Gallery of the Perkins Student Center.

Representatives from federal, state and local agencies and nonprofit organizations will be on hand to share information about internships and job opportunities.

Students should bring a resume, dress professionally and come with questions to ask.

The event is cosponsored by UD's Bank of America Career Services Center, College of Arts and Sciences, Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics and the Department of Urban Affairs and Public Policy.

The Public Service Careers Expo is part of Public Service Careers Week, a series of events designed to help students learn more about careers in the public service arena.
