Master of fine arts students’ work on view in Philadelphia

8:40 a.m., April 29, 2008--An exhibition featuring works by UD master of fine arts students graduating this spring opens with a reception that is free and open to the public from 5-9 p.m., Thursday, May 8, at the Crane Arts building in Philadelphia.

Two other free, public receptions will be held--one is slated for 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 16, and the other is set for 6-8 p.m., Saturday, May 17.

The exhibition will be on display until May 31. Crane Arts is open from noon to 6 p.m., Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The show will include paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures and mixed-media works. UD students participating in the MFA Thesis Exhibition are David Carlisle, Rodney Godek, Michael Kalmbach, Teresa Mikulan, Lauren Scott, Jennifer Peel and Lauren Vanni.
