2:53 p.m., April 11, 2008--The University of Delaware football team will hold an intra-squad scrimmage at 11:15 a.m., Saturday, April 12, either at Tubby Raymond Field at Delaware Stadium or on the adjacent practice field, depending on the weather.

The Fightin' Blue Hens will begin their final week of spring practice Monday, and the annual Blue-White Spring Game will be played at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 19, at Delaware Stadium.

Admission to both events is free.

UD reached the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision championship game in 2007, falling to Appalachian State University.

The Blue Hens will open the 2008 season against the University of Maryland of the Atlantic Coast Conference on Saturday evening, Aug. 30, at Byrd Stadium in College Park, Md.
