Memorial service for Laura Shanks set Oct. 8 in Pennsylvania
4:16 p.m., Sept. 19, 2006--A memorial service for Laura Shanks, the UD student who died Aug. 28, will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 8, at the George School Meeting House, 1690 Langhoirne-Newtown Rd. (Rt. 413), Newtown, Pa. UD students who want to attend and need transportation should contact Mary Jane Marvil in the Office of Campus Life at (302) 831-8939 by Friday, Sept. 29. Ms. Shanks was a sophomore at the University of Delaware, majoring in medical technology. She was considering a career in nursing or veterinary medicine. |
