James L. Butkiewicz, professor of economics, was quoted in a March 22 News Journal story about the Federal Reserve and a possible interest rate cut.

Joyce Hill Stoner, professor of art conservation, was quoted in stories in the March 22 USA Today and News Journal about a possible change of venue for a large N.C. Wyeth mural that now resides in the WSFS Bank on North Market Street in Wilmington.

Edward C. Ratledge, director of UD's Center for Applied Demography and Survey Research, was quoted in a March 22 News Journal story about the state's growing population.

Willett M. Kempton, associate professor of marine and earth studies, and Jeremy Firestone, marine policy scientist in the College of Marine and Earth Studies, were quoted in a March 22 Delaware Coast Press story about wind farms.

Yan Jin, professor of plant and soil sciences, Pei Chiu, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, and Kali Kniel, assistant professor of animal and food sciences, were featured in a March 21 News Journal story about their work in developing a nonchlorine-based technology that can remove harmful microorganisms, including viruses, from drinking water
