Funeral of student Ryan M. O'Hara set Feb. 17

2:39 p.m., Feb. 14, 2007--The University of Delaware will provide transportation for students interested in attending the funeral of Ryan M. O'Hara, a UD junior who died Feb. 12 in a car accident.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, 176 Stage Coach Rd., Sicklerville, N.J. Students interested in attending should contact Mary Jane Marvil at [mjmarvil@udel.edu].

Viewing will be held from 6-9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 16, and from 9-10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church,

Mr. O'Hara, 20, was a history education major, with a minor in German. He also was active in the University's Marching and Symphonic band and served as a resident assistant for two years.

Donations in Mr. O'Hara's memory may be made to the University of Delaware Marching Band, Development Office, George Evans House, University of Delaware, Newark, DE 19716. Click here to share condolences with the family online.
