3:57 p.m., May 19, 2006--Lennell M. Jackson Jr., 31, of Newark, died suddenly on April 7.

Mr. Jackson worked as a miscellaneous wage employee in intercollegiate athletics department at the University of Delaware.

Mr. Jackson was son of the late Lennell Jackson Sr. Survivors include Beretta O. Lane, Berraya D. Labe, Cheryl Lolley and Zelma Beck Blackson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral was held April 13 at the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Newark. Burial was in St. John's Church Cemetery.
