Tree planting planned for Saturday
9:03 a.m., March 14, 2006--The Delaware Nature Society in association with UD's Office of Residence Life is sponsoring at tree planting at Middle Run Natural Area from 9a.m.-12 p.m., Saturday, March 18. Volunteers will plant trees, shrubs and acorns to provide habitat for native wildlife.
Part of an ongoing restoration project, more than 20,000 trees have been planted since the project began in 1992. An additional 500 trees will be planted this year.
