Vladimir Nabokov lecture set March 9

2:36 p.m., March 7, 2006--Sergei Davydov, of Middlebury College, will present “Conjectures on Immortality in Vladimir Nabokov” from 4-5:15 p.m., Thursday, March 9, in 209-11 Trabant University Center.

Davydov, one of the world's foremost authorities on Nabokov, and will examine the author's treatment of metaphysical issues in his writing focusing on immortality and “the beyond.”

The lecture is free and open to the public. It is the 40th lecture in the Distinguished Scholars Series sponsored by UD's Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
