Towson defeats Hens 11-7 in men's lacrosse

9:52 a.m., March 27, 2006--Host Towson University defeated the No. 13-ranked University of Delaware 11-7 in a Colonial Athletic Association men's lacrosse game played Saturday night at Johnny Unitas Stadium.

With the loss, the Fightin' Blue Hens fell to 8-2 overall and 0-1 in the CAA. They will return to action with a conference game against Drexel University at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 1, at Rullo Stadium.

In the game against Towson, junior attack Adam Zuder-Havens led the Hens with three goal and an assist. Cam Howard had a pair of goal and Vincent Giordano and Marty Kupprion had one goal each. Goalkeeper Tommy Scherr had 14 saves.
