Teachers' job fairs at UD April 4-5

5 p.m., March 28, 2006--Students and the general public are invited to attend UD's teacher job fairs from 1:30-6 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, at the Bob Carpenter Center. This two-day event brings recruiters from more than 150 school districts nationwide to interview candidates for fall 2006 positions.

Recruiters from Delaware schools will be featured at “Teach in Delaware Day” on April 4, and recruiters from several other states, including Pennsylvania and New Jersey, will be featured at the “Project Search” job fair on April 5. For a complete list of schools and state participants, go to [www.udel.edu/CSC/projsearch.html].

Candidates are advised to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resumes. Interviews begin at 1:30 p.m., April 4, and at 9 a.m, April 5. Outstanding candidates are often offered contracts on the spot.

Registration is free for UD students and alumni and costs $5 for the general public. To register or for more information, call Kathy Suiter at (302) 831-8570 or e-mail [hannah@udel.edu].
