A good belly laugh not only feels good--research supports that it's good for you, according to Marianne Carter, director of UD's Employee Wellness Center. Not only has humor been found to be a positive stress reliever, it also stimulates the cardiovascular system and results in the production of endorphins, the body's own natural pain killers. According to Linda Smith, Wellness Center program coordinator, "Humor is always one of our most popular program topics. Employees have a good time while learning, and they get to laugh along with their coworkers." Cost is 10 Wellness Dollars.
