Talk on environmental policy at noon, Thursday

4:36 p.m., March 22, 2006--World Bank senior energy economist Tae Yong Jung will give a lecture on energy and environmental policy from noon-1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 23, in the Ewing Room of the Perkins Student Center.

The lecture will focus on policy options to address rapidly expanding energy consumption in East Asia.

Jung is the founder of the Asia Energy and Environment Modeling Forum, the first energy and environmental modeling network in Asia. He also has held various positions in other Asian environmental organizations.
